Sewing club meeting :-)

Yesterday I went to a sewing club meeting at a café. To avoid any misunderstanding, I better explain that icelandic women usually are members of more than one such "sewing club", but very little sewing ever actually takes place. The clubs are just an excuse to get together, chat and eat a lot of goodies :-) This sewing club consists of the girls that were together in the same year in biology at the university. The evening was great, almost everybody turned up. We did our usual news update about our lifes and enjoyed news of a new pregnacy, admired a growing baby bump and got to hear about a recent arrival and how that baby was doing. Lovely evening, spent in great company ! But all the talk about head lice has made my scalp itchy...
